PUMA is an end-to-end learning framework for quadruped robots, integrating visual perception and foothold priors to enable agile and robust locomotion in complex parkour tasks. It estimates egocentric polar foothold priors, guiding active posture adaptation in real-time.
PUMA is a new AI system that helps four-legged robots move very agilely, especially over obstacles, by learning to see and choose where to step all at once. It makes robots much more adaptable in real-time compared to older methods that planned steps beforehand.
